San Antonio

For the first time, I am officially on assignment in a place that sounds like home, but is far away from it. I lived in a "town" called San Antonio in the Philippines, but now work has brought me to San Antonio, Texas.

It's been past 3 months since my wife and I, along with our 2 sons went on and started this new "phase" in family life which I'm sure will be very transformative.

Here's a few photos from the past 3 months:

I've started to learn how to appreciate Mexican cuisine. Puffy Tacos at Los Barrios .... Yum!

Abby and Miggy during our short trip downtown.

 Lone Star State.

Alamo.

We celebrated Gabby's 1st birthday here in SA, TX. It was simple but definitely memorable.

Friends, Colleagues from the Philippines. Our support group here.

One big plus side to being here, Abby is learning how to cook.

We visited our first pumpkin patch, where we all had a great time - taking photos. :)

And this is one of the highlights of the 3 months. Fujinon XF 56mm f/1.2 R... Mmmmmmm.

That's it! I look forward to the upcoming holidays. There's the change in weather, and you know the mood is starting to steer towards Thanksgiving and pretty soon Christmas. I am starting to miss Christmas in the Philippines, where it starts on September. :)

For now, it's about the opportunity, the experience, and the memories we make while here, and I want to make sure I get to capture every single moment.
